Humanist Focus Group of the Inland Northwest
The Humanist Focus Group of the Inland Northwest is a community of individuals who believe that Humanism offers both a realistic and responsible guide to a happy life without having the supernatural as part of their philosophy. Between September and May, we meet the second Saturday of each month at the Golden Corral Buffet, 7117 N. Division at 7:45 A.M. for a breakfast meeting. On the third Sunday, we meet at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 4340 W. Fort Wright Dr. at 12:45 P.M. for a presentation and discussion. All presentations are open to anyone interested. |

Spokane Secular Society
Founded in 2008, the Spokane Secular Society is made up primarily of local atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, brights, humanists, heathens, and anyone questioning faith or completely without it. We are a social and activist group that supports education, skepticism, and evidence-based reasoning.
It is the mission of the Spokane Secular Society to foster a secular community in the Inland Northwest, to educate the community at large about secularism, and to be a positive influence within that community.

A handful of students at Eastern Washington University decided that it was about time to create a club to build community for the school's atheist students and make some like-minded friends. UU Humanists' programs include speakers or discussions on a wide range of topics from the principles of humanism to the evaluation of historical and current social problems. Our meetings are open to all, especially those who enjoy the scientific approach and rational thinking. COR Spokane
Many of your neighbors in the Inland Northwest area also live without God or religion as a part of their daily lives. CoR Spokane, the Coalition of Reason of Spokane, is a joint effort by various local groups to promote freethought, humanism, atheism, skepticism, evidence-based reasoning, et cetera. Our mutual goals are to connect like-minded individuals to form a greater rational community, to provide information about our beliefs and practices, and to make our beautiful city an even more wonderful place to live.
Though all of the member groups share common ground, each has its own particular emphasis and atmosphere. Some are activist, focusing on outreach and community service. Others are largely social, focusing on rational conversation and making new friends. All are committed to promoting wider acceptance of a more rational and contemporary view of humanity and the universe in which we live. |

The Palouse Coalition of Reason
The Palouse Coalition of Reason is made up of atheist, freethought, and humanist groups working together in the Pullman, Washington, and Moscow, Idaho area. Our twin goals are to foster a sense of community among the like minded and raise public awareness that people who don't believe in a god or gods can be decent citizens who contribute to the larger society. |
